Your Stick On Bra Questions, Answered
We get a lot of questions about adhesive bras - how they actually work, how long they hold, whether they support fuller busts, and whether they survive a hot Australian wedding. We have pulled together the questions our customers ask most often about the Nudi Bra and Nudi Boobies, along with the honest answers. If you have one we have not covered here, drop us a line - chances are someone else is wondering the same thing.
Will a Nudi Bra stay put for 10 to 11 hours? Some stick on bras say not to wear them for more than 6 hours.
Our Nudi Bra and Nudi Boobies are designed to stay put until you remove them. They use medical-grade adhesive, are stored in a clean dust-free container, and the 6-hour limit you see on cheaper brands usually reflects a lower-grade adhesive. Apply correctly to clean dry skin and you will comfortably get through a full evening event.

Will a Nudi Bra stick if I get sweaty? I have heard they can slide off when dancing.
While we would not advocate running a marathon in your Nudi Bra, normal sweat from dancing does not penetrate the adhesive grip when the bra is applied to clean, product-free skin. We are yet to hear from any customer who reported a bra sliding off on the dance floor. The trick is the prep, not the bra itself.
As a D cup, I do not think stick on bras provide much support. Are they designed for bigger busts?
We had so many requests from our D-cup customers that we expanded the Nudi Bra range to cover A, B, C and D cups for full support, cleavage and comfort. When you are wearing the correct cup size, applied correctly, you should feel proper lift and shape rather than a flat cover. Cup size matching is the biggest factor here - a D cup wearing a B cup sticky bra will always feel unsupported.
I heard that adhesive bras do not really provide support - they just cover and shape. Without straps, how do they work?
They work surprisingly well, and they are our best sellers for good reason. The trick is application. Place each cup further apart on the chest than feels natural, then sweep inwards as you press them down. The further apart they start, the greater the lift and cleavage when they are pulled toward the centre. Applying them too close together gives you the flat-cover feeling people complain about. Carefully review the instructions on the box for the best fitting results.
How long can I actually wear a sticky bra in one go?
For a properly applied Nudi Bra or Nudi Boobies, 8 to 10 hours is typical and 12+ hours is achievable with the right prep. We have customers who wear them from a 10am wedding ceremony through to a midnight reception with no issues. The 6-hour limit on cheaper brands reflects their adhesive, not adhesive bras as a category. For an even more detailed breakdown of factors that affect wear time, our wear-time guide goes into the science of it.
Will a sticky bra stay on through a hot, sweaty outdoor event?
Yes, with two adjustments. First, prep the skin properly - shower in the morning, skip any moisturiser, sunscreen or oil on the chest area, and apply the bra to fully dry skin. Second, give the bra at least 10 minutes after application before getting dressed so the adhesive can warm into place. Outdoor summer weddings, race days and rooftop events all work with this approach. If the forecast is genuinely brutal (35+ degrees and humid), some customers also layer a strip of boob tape under the cup edges for extra insurance.
Can a sticky bra support a DD, E or F cup?
The Nudi Boobies invisible silicone bra is available up to E cup and is designed with extra adhesive contact area to handle a fuller bust. For DD and E wearers, the silicone style holds well on its own. For F cup and above, we would honestly recommend pairing a sticky bra with boob tape, or going with tape alone for events where lift is the priority. Cheap one-size-fits-all sticky bras genuinely cannot do the work for larger cups, regardless of what the packaging promises - this is one area where the product specification really matters.
How do I get more lift and cleavage from my sticky bra?
Three application tweaks make the biggest difference:
- Start further apart. Place each cup about 5 to 8 centimetres further apart on your chest than feels natural before pressing them down.
- Sweep inwards as you press. Smooth each cup from the outside towards the centre, lifting the breast tissue as you go. This is where the cleavage actually comes from.
- Use the front clasp or tie if your bra has one. Bras like the Nudi Boobies with a front clasp let you adjust the cleavage tightness after both cups are on - this is the lift control most people miss.
If you want even more lift on top of this, layering a single strip of boob tape under each cup before applying the bra adds another centimetre of structural lift.
Can I wear boob tape with my sticky bra for extra support?
Absolutely, and a lot of our customers do this for big events. The combination works in two ways - tape underneath the cups for extra structural lift, or tape over the top of the cups along the cleavage line to hold the cups firmly together. Either approach extends the wear time and the lift. Our boob tape application guide walks through the technique, and the boob tape collection has the right tape for layering with adhesive bras.
How many times can I reuse a stick on bra?
A well-cared-for Nudi Boobies sticky bra gives you 30 to 50 wears before the adhesive starts to lose grip. A standard Nudi Bra falls in a similar range. What kills sticky bras early is product residue (moisturiser, sunscreen, deodorant), lint and dust on the adhesive between wears, and storing them folded or near humidity. Look after the adhesive surface and you will get well over a year of regular wear from one bra.
How do I clean my sticky bra so it lasts longer?
The short version: lint roll first, warm-water rinse with fingertips only if needed, mild soap wash if there is genuine residue, and air dry adhesive-side up on a clean surface. Never use a towel. Our full guide to bringing a sticky bra back to life covers the five methods ranked by how bad the stickiness loss is, with the right method for each.
Are stick on bras safe to wear regularly?
Yes for most people, with sensible precautions. The adhesive on our range is medical-grade and hypoallergenic, the same family used in medical tapes. Patch test before the first wear, give your skin a day off between wears if you are using them regularly, and skip them on sunburnt, broken or freshly waxed skin. We have a detailed safety guide covering sensitive skin, breastfeeding, daily wear and how to do a 24-hour patch test.
